Caruso's Tuscan Cuisine

Very small place. We were sat at a table under the bar. Yes, they put a table under the bar. We had to watch our heads so we didn't hit the bottom of the bar counter and so we didn't get elbowed in the head by people sitting at the bar. My husband liked the food a lot more than I did. I don't think I've ever asked for salt at a restaurant before.

Delicious food. Well prepared and presented. Fabulous gnocchi! This is a very small venue, so reservations are suggested for parties of 4 or more. It is definitely worth the effort. And...the staff is THE BEST! Great restaurant in the heart of Capitola Village. Had my birthday dinner there last night!

I love how small it is. The food is fantastic!! The service is great too! If you don’t get their when it opens you will have to wait. It’s worth the wait! The lasagna is the best!
